Our vision is to play a small part in creating a world where everyone has meaningful community.
We do this by mobilizing people to host meaningful gatherings. We don’t want to prescribe how you gather; we want to give you the resources & inspiration to gather in a way that is meaningful to you & your community.
“We Gather Us”
This is the new mantra of social connection. Not Gatherday, but us - the people - bringing each other together.
“We gather us”
means everyone has a voice in creating our social fabric.
“We gather us”
means we gather in a way that’s meaningful to us.
“We gather us”
means we have each other, which is all we need.
“We gather us”
means we own the purpose and vision of our community.
What’s Our Role?
Gatherday participates in this movement by designing programs with the following goals:
Mobilize People to Gather
We desire for people to connect when they otherwise wouldn’t, sharing face-to-face time together.
Mobilize People to Connect Meaningfully
We desire for people to connect deeply, recognizing and sharing meaningful conversations and experiences.
Mobilize People to Commit to Each Other
We desire for people to commit to one another over time, forming deep relationships and showing up for each other.
What’s Our End Game?
Ultimately, the goal is not for everyone to experience a Gatherday program. We know that’s not achievable or sustainable. Instead, we seek to experiment with new and creative ways to mobilize people to gather meaningfully.
We’re committed, not to a specific program or model, but to the journey of testing and exploring new paths to bring people together. Along the way, we’ll be designing and developing resources for others to adopt, share, and replicate.
